The Maroons only have 10 registered players and will be forced to fill the rest of the team with permits - of which they can only use a maximum of six per game - if they can't secure more numbers.
"We're seeking kids between the ages of 13 and 17 who might be looking for a regular game of footy," Newbridge under-17 coach Brad Dixon said on Friday.
"We know there are clubs out there with over 30 kids on their lists, so we ask that if there are players who might miss out on a regular game to contact us. We can offer them a game every week.
"Players of all abilities are welcome. My main goal as coach is to teach the players skills to hopefully, go on and play senior footy and for the players to enjoy themselves while playing sport.
"We can offer state-of-the-art facilities and professional training staff, and can assist with transport to and from training and games if required."
The Maroons' under-17s train at Newbridge's Riverside Park on Thursdays from 5.15pm.
Prospective players should contact 0409 180 944.
