Lock will compete in the light-heavyweight division (81kg) at the Pianto Boxing Academy-promoted event.
The bouts will be at Truscott Reserve, home of the Eaglehawk Soccer Club in Murdock Street, California Gully.
There will be six Pianto-trained boxers on the card.
Lock played 18 matches for Carlton Football Club between 1997 and '99.
He was drafted to the Blues via the Bendigo Pioneers and Eaglehawk.
The gun midfielder played a key role in Eaglehawk's grand final victory in 2008.
His footy career includes coaching stints at Colbinabbin and North Bendigo.
Lock has returned to play for Eaglehawk this season.
Other boxers from the Pianto Academy warming up for March 22 bouts are Shane Piper and Andrew Piper, both in light heavyweight; Castlemaine's Jason Chislett in 54kg; and Vaughan and Connor Stamm in the 44kg class.
Latest tournament for the Pianto team was at Corowa last weekend.
"Shane Piper won in a first-round knockout," Pianto said. "Vaughan and Connor both won at Corowa."
General admission tickets for the tournament in California Gully are $20 and will be available at the door from 6pm on the night.
Ringside tables of 10 are still available. Contact Frank Pianto on 0401 306 308.
The March 22 tournament is the first of three events that Pianto is promoting to be in Bendigo this year.
