The festival will see bands play from 12.30pm until 10.30pm on Saturday and from 1pm until 9.30pm on Sunday.
A stage will be set up along Water Street, near the Bridge Hotel, where 12 bands will play throughout both days.
There will be a great aussie barbeque marquee and wine from Bendigo producers Glenwillow Wines and Pondalowie Vineyards Marquees.
Festival organiser David Mulqueen said the festival was a celebration of local talent.
"The whole theme was to get very localised," he said.
"It’s loose in its concept because we want it to grow.
"We certainly have a structure as good as the blues and roots festival."
Parts of Water Street will be blocked off for the festival and it's free to attend.
