The series of MC/spoken word workshops is open to all young people aged 12 to 25 years.
The program is aimed at empowering young hip-hop MCs and poets while encouraging them to actively participate in their local and statewide community, by expanding their peer, mentor and industry networks.
Workshops are aimed at refining the individual’s work, performance and writing skills.
Bendigo participants will have the guidance of Melbourne rapper and writer Defron, the 2009 champion of Australia’s renowned Revolver MC Battle.
To sign up go to www.yobendigo.com.au.
Bendigo workshops will be on February 28 and March 7 at COG Youth Innovation Centre, 45 Mundy Street from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
