Fairytale Fun will take place on February 23 at Station Domain in Maryborough and is part of the Summer in the Domain program.
Central Goldfields Shire mayor Barry Rinaldi hoped to see lots of local families at the event.
"Council loves to host events like this, to bring our community together to have fun and an easy day out at one of our best facilities," he said.
"It will be fun for everyone who comes along."
There will be face painting, a jumping castle, balloon giveaways, a barbecue and children are encouraged to dress as their favourite superhero, storybook, nursery rhyme, movie or cartoon character.
Maryborough Scouts, Central Goldfields Girl Guides, Hot Shot Tennis and Net Set Go will also host a range of activities.
The event starts at 10am and finishes at 1pm.
Central Goldfields Shire Council and Best Start will host the event.
