Rebekah Baker will throw open her doors on Sunday for a garage sale offering jewellery, clothes and other items.
She said she was launching a business selling jewellery but wanted to donate the profits to the Country Fire Authority.
"Because of the recent fires I thought I'd do a fundraiser," she said.
"That was the motivation behind it. It's just a small way of showing my appreciation.
"Hopefully it's a nice event and we can raise a fair bit of money. Anyone is welcome to come along."
The sale will be held February 23 from 1pm to 5pm in the carport of her home at 1 Havilah Road.
Ms Baker said there would be some free food and drinks.
