A STRATHDALE woman has come runners up in the state final for the Noosa International Food and Wine Festival Victorian Cook Off.

One of three competitors in the final, Sarah Lewis cooked harissa lamb with a quinoa salad.
Ms Lewis will not continue onto the final at the festival in May but said she was very proud of her efforts.
"Food is my passion," she said.
"My father is a passionate cook and he has inspired me greatly over the years.
"I primarily enjoy modern Australian cooking, yet I often find myself combining it with my own Asian inspired twists."
Ms Lewis said she also works as a food photographer and stylist.

The festival will take place in Noosa from May 15 to 18.
