Martin scored two-under 70 in Friday's second round at the Heritage Golf and Country Club.
He is tied for 21st at three-under going into Saturday's round.
Mueck carded three-under in his latest round to be two-under and equal 28th at the tournament.
Lucas Herbert scored one-over 73 in round two be at one-under and equal 34th going into round three.
The tournament's joint leaders are Australia's Jamie Arnold and New Zealand's Gareth Paddison at nine-under after 36 holes.
