Former Elmore resident Christine Goode will be tin-rattling to raise money to participate in the upcoming The Weekend to End Women's Cancers.
"There are 12 of us from St Arnaud walking 60km over two days," she said.
"We each have to raise a minimum of $2000 to be able to walk - it's on March 1 and 2 and we will walk 30km each day."
Money from the walk will go to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
"My mum was diagnosed with cancer back in October 2012 and I've had some friends with cancer and a few of us thought, yep, we'll get on board and we'll raise money," Ms Goode said.
"We've raised more than $24,000 and it was suggested I have something in my hometown.
"The support has been amazing."
A Pleasant Pink Sunday Arvo will be at the Shamrock Hotel in Elmore from 2pm to 4.30pm.
