For the second-straight day the Bendigo golfer fired a bogey-free round at Imperial Lakeview Golf Club.
Birdies on the third, eighth and 10th gave Martin a three-under par 69.
He's nine-under par for the tournament, two shots behind fellow Australian Matt Jager.
A solid fourth round on Saturday will ensure Martin advances to the final stage of qualifying in Thailand in a fortnight.
He needs to finish in the top 40 at the final qualifying to earn a tour card for the 2014 season.
Martin returns to Australia after Saturday's final round to concentrate on Thursday's Victorian PGA Championship at The Heritage Country Club.
He'll be joined in the field by Bendigo duo Lucas Herbert and Kris Mueck.
