The warning will be rolled out on AM and FM radio stations across Victoria.
Ms Lovell said last year there were 1100 cases of children locked in cars across Victoria.
“Despite multiple warnings from the Coalition Government, in the last week long heat wave across Victoria (13th-17th January) Ambulance Victoria were called to 50 cases of children left unattended in cars,” Ms Lovell said.
It is a criminal offence to leave a child unattended in a car with penalties ranging from fines to imprisonment.
