FANS of all ages came from here, there and everywhere to see Jessica Mauboy at Bendigo Stadium on Wednesday night.
Budding vocalist and performer Violet Kelly visited the show with her best friend Rosie Andrianakis from Coburg
“I like Jess because she’s got a good voice,” Violet said.
"I like her because she doesn’t always think of herself,” Rosie said.
“We thought we would make an adventure out of the concert so we travelled from Coburg and we are staying across the road in a hotel,” Mrs Kelly said.
The mothers of Rosie and Violet expressed their satisfaction that their little girls were looking up to someone like Jessica.
Jessica Fraser travelled from Avoca for the concert.
Her grandmother Jeanette is also a big fan and joined her.
“We’ve been following her for a while. From Australian Idol to Bran Nue Dae to The Sapphires, we just love her,” Jeanette said.
Charlotte Kleinitz and Jae Coates-Moore, both eight, agreed that they were both equally excited to see her.
It’s safe to say that Jessica’s fans would go to the ends of the earth for her.
Jessica Mauboy will be in Ballarat on Thursday and Geelong on Friday.
Mauboy's management would not allow the Bendigo Advertiser to photograph the singer at the fans' meet and greet or during her concert.
