The Fire won that first game - the grand final rematch - 79-67.
However, since the 12-point loss the Spirit have won 16 games in a row to cement their position at the top of the WNBL ladder, while the Fire sits fourth with an 11-6 record.
The two sides lock will lock horns at the Bendigo Stadium from 3pm, with the match also to be shown live on ABC TV.
