The Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival is already preparing for this year's event with the first showcase fundraiser on tomorrow at the Goldmines Hotel.
“We are excited to be hosting a showcase so early in the new year," founder and director of BBRMF Colin Thompson said.
The line-up for Sunday's event includes Jojo Smith, Kyneton’s Jarrod Shaw, Echuca's Benny Walker, Bendigo's Albert Skipper and his band The Lost Sirens.
A number of the scheduled artists are playing their first showcase tomorrow including local jazz songstress Erica Hawkey, teen-aged harmonisers DIGG and the newly relocated and explosive young blues specialist Bill Barber.
The Blues and Roots Showcase #1 starts at noon at the Goldmines Hotel in Marong Road.
