“We are excited to be hosting a showcase so early in the new year," founder and director of BBRMF Colin Thompson said.
The line-up for Sunday's event includes Jojo Smith, Kyneton’s Jarrod Shaw, Echuca's Benny Walker, Bendigo's Albert Skipper and his band The Lost Sirens.
A number of the scheduled artists are playing their first showcase tomorrow including local jazz songstress Erica Hawkey, teen-aged harmonisers DIGG and the newly relocated and explosive young blues specialist Bill Barber.
The Blues and Roots Showcase #1 starts at noon at the Goldmines Hotel in Marong Road.
Entry is $10 for adults, $5 for people under 18 and free for kids under 12.
