The 16-year-old will represent Bendigo in the 22-under division when the three-day titles start on Friday at Creswick.
Blencowe will join forces with Connor Gledhill and the Mein twins, Madeline and Stephanie.
It will be Blencowe's third regionals campaign.
A second-year player in the BTA's Premier League, Blencowe's consistency with Spring Gully Bigpond impressed selectors.
"Consistency and backhand are the major strengths of my game," Blencowe said after a workout with BTA team-mate Sam McHarg.
"Forehand could always be better."
Blencowe marked his Premier League debut by playing for BLTC Swish in its run to another grand final victory.
He started playing ennis eight years ago.
"I enjoyed watching tennis and thought I would have a go," Blencowe said.
He was coached by Kieran Fitzgerald for four years and been coached by Steve Storer the past four.
Training sessions are two or three times a week.
Blencowe said adjusting to the pace and bounce of the grasscourts at Creswick would be a great test.
