The 2014 draw was released this week, with the seventh-ranked BFNL to play the eighth-ranked Gippsland at the QEO on Saturday, May 24.

AFL Central Victoria is hoping to have the Loddon Valley Football Netball League or the Heathcote District Football League play their country championship game at the QEO as well.

In 2012, AFLCV hosted a successful country championship double-header at the QEO.

The BFNL defeated Gippsland by 23 points and the HDFL proved too strong for Geelong District 115-87.

The BFNL and Gippsland also clashed at the QEO in 2010 with the home side winning a tight encounter by nine points.

The 19th-ranked HDFL are drawn to play 20th-ranked Horsham District in 2014, while 23rd-ranked LVFNL will play the 24th-ranked Central Highlands.

Maryborough Castlemaine District Football League, ranked 22nd, will host the 21st-ranked Geelong District Football League at a venue yet to be determined on May 24.

The North Central Football League, ranked 18th, are drawn to play the 17th-ranked Wimmera Football League.
