The fire started at a private property in Sullivans Road about 4pm on Sunday.
Five trucks from Strathfieldsaye, Junortoun, Mandurang, Axe Creek and Bendigo took two hours to control the blaze.
Bendigo Fire Brigade senior station officer Mick Lavery said the cause of the fire is unknown but the incident had not been deemed suspicious.
Mr Lavery said no one was injured.
He said it was a timely reminder to people the bushfire season had been declared.
"People need to be wary that summer is upon us," he said.
