Volunteers and community groups do a huge amount of work in conserving our environment and creating a more sustainable Australia.

Central Victoria has outstanding examples of people working towards environmental excellence 

These awards recognise those incredible people who give up their time to contribute to our environment.

I encourage everyone to consider nominating environmentalist for these awards so that their vital contribution can be recognised.  

Nominations close on April 22, 2013, and the awards will be announced as part of World Environment Day celebrations in June, 2013.
