John Harrison, of Golden Square, faced the Bendigo Magistrates Court briefly yesterday before being ordered to return for a committal mention.
Harrison has been charged with stalking a Bendigo teenager and using Facebook as a carriage service to menace the boy over a period of six months.
Police allege Harrison befriended the boy on Facebook and sent him a series of messages, demanding sexual acts.
Harrison was arrested at his home in a police raid on February 1.
