A white 2010 Western Star model 4800 was stolen from the Taylor Street business sometime between 8am and 8pm.
Police believe the offenders completed the theft by cutting into a wire fence at the front of the premises.
Bendigo Truck and Trailer Sales owner Glenn Hussey said he was very disappointed to find the truck gone when he arrived at work yesterday morning.
“When we turned up, we saw the hole in the fence and my heart sank,” he said.
Mr Hussey said it was the first time something this substantial had been stolen from his business.
He said it was a big blow to his business.
“It’s a big hit, but you’ve got to keep going,” he said.
But Mr Hussey still remains hopeful the police will be able to recover the vehicle.
“Hopefully someone knows something about it and it’s found,” he said.
Bendigo police urged anyone with any information to contact them on 5448 1300 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
