“We’re used to the cold weather and having snow but instead we’re having barbecues and being outside,” Ms Acey said.
The Yorkshire pair were spending time at Aysons Reserve camp area in their campervan after spending Christmas picking tomatoes in Strathallan, near Rochester.
They migrated to Australia just under two years ago and have spent that time travelling around the country trying to choose a place to live.
“We have found lots of amazing places but we just can’t pick,” Ms Griffiths said.
Ms Griffiths said they had found the campsite to be very friendly and welcoming.
“We had some battery troubles but everyone has been very helpful.
