As part of the biannual Fordson Tractor Club of Australia gathering, members and their vintage Fordson Tractors have made the trek to the region for the two-day event.
The aim of the event is for members to admire the classic Fordson tractors. Club secretary Dawn Milsom said the weekend event was a chance for members to come together and talk all things Fordson with like-minded historical enthusiasts.
She said the best thing about the club was catching up with good friends.
“The best thing is the social side to it,” Mrs Milsom said.
“Everyone gets on really well, we are all friendly and we all have similar interests.”
Mrs Milsom said her love of Fordsons had come from her husband.
“We have been collecting for a while,” she said.
“My husband decided to get a Fordson with a saw bench on it because we were cutting wood and it sort of went on from there.” Mrs Milsom said more than 30 Fordsons were expected to come to Mandurang.
She said as well as catching up with old friends, a display of old Fordsons tractor memorabilia would be on display for members at the Mandurang Hall.?
