Last year the pool was only open one or two days – how could you plan to go when it was never open?
It is never promoted as open, not even a sign in Eaglehawk Road. No wonder no one uses it.
It is a shame to lose an asset, that will never be replaced, where children can have the joys of learning to swim in a safe environment.
Once again the Long Gully community is the loser. Shame CoGB for failing to look after those that need assets such as this.
