Crews from as far afield as Essendon, Hawthorn, Corowa and Nagambie competed on the day.

There where many highlights for the Bendigo crews on home water.

Thomas McMahon was second in his heat and then won the final in the D grade single scull.

William Garvin also took out the C grade single scull.

In the women’s C grade single scull, Katie Nash put in a strong race to be runner-up by two lengths.

The main event of the day was the men’s A grade single scull, which was won by Shane O’Connor-Smith from PowerHouse.

Next major regatta on the Rowing Victoria calendar will be the Head of the Barwon at Geelong on November 8.
