FALKEN'S victory kicked off a winning treble for jockey Dale Smith at yesterday’s Bendigo Jockey Club meeting.A $7 chance, Falken flew over the final 200m on the Epsom track to win the Jayco Bendigo Cup Packages Out Now Handicap (1600m) by a neck.The Shane Nichols-trained galloper withstood a strong challenge from $3.40 favourite Moulin Bleu, which was ridden by Danny Nikolic, in the final stages of the race.Smith triumphed in the next race aboard Shabangabang in the Gallic Club Lunch (1100m).A memorable afternoon for the jockey was brought up in the last as Quick Bond sprinted to victory in the Taste Of Pink Raceday Handicap.The day included a home-track victory for Bendigo trainer Shane Fliedner as Likely Lad won the McCaig Airconditioning Handicap (1300m) by a short half-head at the Nursery of Champions.
