GOLDEN Square has won its third-straight BFNL premiership in record-breaking style.The Bulldogs set a grand final winning margin record thrashing Eaglehawk 25.18 (168) to 5.3 (33).The previous best was Sandhurst's 117-point win over Maryborough in 1933.Grant Weeks, Luke Rosa and Shaun Young bagged four goals each for Square, while Luke Hammond kicked three goals.The Bulldogs didn't have a poor player. Mark Lloyd, Matt O'Toole, Luke Hammond, Simon Rosa and Adam Baird led the way in an awesome team performance.Shane Davis, Josh Bowe, Darcy Richards and Tim Hill, until he was injured, were Eaglehawk's best. The Nalder Medal went to Golden Square co-captain Mark Lloyd.The VCFL Medal went to Golden Square's Matt O'Toole.

    B-Grade: Kangaroo Flat v Eaglehawk EAGLEHAWK have caused the first upset of BFNL grand final day, defeating B-Grade favourites Kangaroo Flat 48-42.It was an amazing comeback by the Hawks, who trailed by as many as nine goals in the first half.Changes in the Hawks attack after half-time turned the game, with Ashlee Jenkyn the stand out in goal attack.Kangaroo Flat captain Nina Cass, who took out this year’s B-Grade best and fairest, announced she had played her last game after a career of more than 200 games with the BFNL. Eaglehawk's B-Grade side Reserves: Sandhurst v GisborneGISBORNE holds a 48-point lead at three quarter-time of the BFNL reserves grand final.The Bulldogs broke the game open in the third quarter kicking six goals in six minutes on their way to a nine-goal to one term.Sandhurst has the wind in the last quarter, but would need a remarkable turnaround to reel in the Bulldogs.Three quarter-time score - Gisborne 13.14 (92) lead Sandhurst 6.8 (44).

    Reserves: Sandhurst v Gisborne SANDHURST leads Gisborne by three points at half-time in the BFNL reserves grand final.The Dragons lead 5.6 (36) to 4.9 (33).Gisborne kicked with the breeze in the first quarter, but its first five scoring shots were points.The Bulldogs led 2.8 to 2.3 at the first change.Sandhurst was more efficient in the second quarter and made the most of its opportunities.Sandhurst has five individual goalkickers, while Jamerson Campbell has two for the Dogs. B-Grade: Kangaroo Flat v Eaglehawk KANGAROO Flat have the upper hand on Eaglehawk at half-time in the B-Grade grand final. They lead 24-18.

    Under-18: Sandhurst v Golden Square SANDHURST has won the BFNL under-18 grand final after holding off a spirited Golden Square side at the QEO.The Dragons, who were favourite to win the premiership, won 9.15 (69) to 8.8 (56).Harry O'Meara kicked two goals for the Dragons, while Braydon Cowling bagged three goals for the Bulldogs.The Rod Ashman Medal for best on ground went to Sandhurst's Joel Wharton.
