BENDIGO East will face Falcons in this Sunday’s start to the best-of-three grand final series to decide the A grade premier in the Bendigo Baseball Association.East fought on to score an 8-6 win against Strathfieldsaye Dodgers in last Sunday’s preliminary final.The East batters made a great start to the contest although Nick Whatley halted East’s scoring as Dodgers fought back to score some late runs.A committed East defended superbly as Aaron Sherriff pitched his best game for the season.Strathfieldsaye Dodgers lost to Bendigo East 6-8.Pitchers – Dodgers: Geoff Holland 3.1 innings 5K2 2BB, Nick Whatley 2.2 inns 2K2 2BB.
