Heather calls it a day

AFTER 20 years of service Heather Ware has completed her last transaction at the APCO service station in Kangaroo Flat.Store owner Damian Carew said Ms Ware was a remarkable employee who would be missed.“I’ve worked out that she’s probably done about 2.5 million transactions,” he said.“It doesn’t matter if you are her first customer or her last, everyone get’s the same service with the same smiling face.”Ms Ware said she was ready to begin another 20 years with her husband retiring yesterday as well.“I’ll miss this group and the customers,” she said.“Everything comes to an end I suppose.“We’ll just take it as it comes.”
