The brand's "fun centres" feature pizza, arcade games and entertainment, host birthday parties and has a cast of characters led by mouse mascot Chuck E. Cheese.
Nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese restaurants are operating across 16 countries, decades after the first restaurant opened in San Jose, California in 1977.
"We are thrilled to bring the magic of Chuck E. Cheese to Australia and to collaborate with the Royale Hospitality Group, a partner that shares our commitment to delivering exceptional family experiences," Chuck E. Cheese International COO Mario Centola said.
The move into Australia comes after a strategic master franchise partnership with Royale Hospitality Group, the company behind Perth's entertainment venue Planet Royale.
"We look forward to crafting the Chuck E. Cheese brand for the Australian market," Royale Hospitality managing director Ray Strauss said.
"I am thrilled, along with my dedicated team, to embark on this exciting journey, taking Chuck E. Cheese to the next level throughout all of Australia."
The chain is the latest to eye the Australian market after American fast food chain Wendy's announced in August 2023 it was opening 200 restaurants Down Under in the coming decade.
