After the Cobras posted their highest score of the season, 5-176 off their 25 overs, they then put the clamps on the winless Jets, who were held to 9-53 in reply having one stage been 9-16.
Burzacott was the chief destroyer with the ball for the Cobras with 4-7 off five overs, while California Gully also had the game's standout batting performance with a knock of 48 off 38 by Hannah Kenny.
* Flag favourite Sandhurst picked up from where it left off before the break.
The undefeated Dragons were dominant with both bat and ball against West Bendigo in a 146-run thrashing at Club Court.
The Dragons plundered 2-182, their highest score of the season, batting first, which featured an unbeaten half-century to Amanda O'Neill (51 n.o.) and good knocks from captain Kate Shallard (47 n.o.), Yasmin Colley (31) and Maree Pearce (29), before routing the Redbacks for 36.
* Kangaroo Flat notched a 106-run victory over Strathdale-Maristians Blue at Beischer Park.
After being sent into bat the Roos compiled 4-167 headed by Sarah Perry's half-century (52 n.o.).
Having one stage been 0-17 in reply, Strathdale lost 4-1 to crash to 4-18 before being bowled out in the 22nd over for 61.
Jess Potter finished with the impressive figures of 2-2 off four overs for the Roos.
* Competition new-comer Golden Square climbed its way into the top four with an upset victory over second-placed Bendigo.
Bendigo was dismissed for 82 after being sent in before Golden Square took 15.2 overs to answer with 2-85.
Bendigo opener Letesha Bawden (55 n.o.) and Golden Square opener Sarah Mannes (50 n.o.) both cracked unbeaten half-centuries.
* And Strathdale-Maristians (117) defeated the Bendigo Goers (86) by 31 runs.
The Goers' Emma Windridge (3-21) and Strathdale skipper Ellena Findlay (3-21) each took three wickets.
