Greater Bendigo has recorded 195 new coronavirus cases overnight.
This is a drop of 53 new cases and brings the total number of active cases in the region to 1334.
According to data from the Department of Health, Campaspe Shire recorded another 8 cases, Macedon Ranges recorded another 48 and Mount Alexander reported 18 new cases.
Buloke Shire recorded another 10 cases while Ganawarra and Central Goldfields shire recorded 15 and 12 new cases respectively.
Earlier
VICTORIA recorded another 16,016 new COVID-19 cases overnight.
The new infections were detected from 7,584 at-home rapid antigen tests and 8,432 laboratory-run PCR tests.
Greater Bendigo's numbers rose slightly yesterday as the region recorded 258 new coronavirus cases overnight.
This was a jump of 44 new cases from Thursday's numbers and brought the total number of active cases in the region to 1334.
Sadly, another 20 people have died from the virus and there are 1,029 individuals in hospital, 120 in ICU and 39 on ventilators, according to Department of Health statistics.
