Greater Bendigo has recorded 258 new coronavirus cases overnight.
This is a jump of 44 new cases from Thursday's numbers and brings the total number of active cases in the region to 1334.
According to data from the Department of Health, Campaspe Shire's active number of cases now sits at 468 after recording another 14 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Macedon Ranges recorded another 39 cases bumping it's active coronavirus cases to 617, and Mount Alexander reported 33 new cases taking it's total active cases to 146.
Buloke Shire recorded another 11 cases while Ganawarra and Central Goldfields shire each recorded less than 10 new cases; five and seven respectively.

VICTORIA recorded another 18,167 new COVID-19 cases overnight.
The new infections were detected from 8,144 at-home rapid antigen tests and 10,023 laboratory-run PCR tests.
Great Bendigo active case numbers rose slightly yesterday, as the region recorded 214 new cases on Wednesday.

Sadly, another 20 people have died from the virus and its complications, according to Department of Health statistics.
A total of 1,096 people are in hospital with COVID-19, 121 in intensive care and 34 on ventilators.
What's making news?
It comes as tens of millions of Rapid Antigen Tests will soon be available to Victorians, with the state government ordering a further 166 million tests, building on its initial bulk order of 44 million.
Premier Daniel Andrews said the distribution of free RATs will help reduce the pressure on the PCR testing system.
The state government also reversed a decision to pause IVF treatments only a week after it announced treatments would be suspended for the next three months following soaring COVID-19 numbers in the state.
