The championships will be held at Mildura from Saturday to Monday and feature 108 events over the three days, with Bendigo East coach John Jordan confident of a strong showing from the club.
"We have an excellent group of swimmers competing at the championships this year," Jordan said this week.
"We're hopeful of our group both winning some medals and achieving personal bests over the three days.
"Swimmers must meet rigorous time standards to enter the championships meaning those who are competing are the best that country Victoria has to offer."
The Victorian Country Long Course Championships follow the Victorian Sprint Championships that were held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre last weekend.
Bendigo East had 26 members compete at the sprint championships, four of whom won medals:
Cameron Jordan - 1st 50m breaststroke;
Grace Dobie - 2nd 50m backstroke;
Isabella Symons - 2nd backstroke, 3rd 50m butterfly;
Charlie Whitsed - 3rd 50m breaststroke.
The club also had Henry Allan (50m backstroke), Azia Fong-Sutton (50m backstroke), Veda Haines (50m breastroke) and Sebastian Mansfield (50m freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke) who finished top 10 in events at the championships.
