The event raised about $9000 for the Central Victorian Medical Recruitment Taskforce (CVMRT), a non-for-profit group working to attract specialist doctors to Bendigo and surrounds.
Organiser Peter Hyett said the day was a huge success with perfect weather.
“The winning team was from Shane Muir Consulting Engineers,” he said. “Nearest the pins went to Dave Jeffrey and L Treble, longest drive went to Jake Hayes and straightest drive to Janice Chester.”
Dr Dan Fletcher also talked to the crowd about how CVMRT helped with his move to Bendigo.
Mr Hyett said Dr Fletcher
moved from the UK with his wife Emma and three children eight months ago after falling in love with the town during a visit at Easter last year.
