Greyhounds die days after serious race injuries in Tasmania, revealed in Right to Information request

Greyhound welfare advocates want improvements to the way in which information is reported on the deaths of greyhounds who suffer injuries at Tasmanian tracks.

Six greyhounds were euthanised in Tasmania in the days after suffering a serious race injury last year - in addition to the dogs euthanised at the tracks themselves - prompting calls for greater transparency in the release of the information.
