DESPITE missing last weekend's re-start of the competition, United batsman Alex Code remains at No.1 in the Addy's Emu Valley Cricket Association MVP rankings.
With a competition-best 312 runs, two wickets and four fielding dismissals, Code has racked up 397 MVP points to be in top spot after eight rounds.
It's a tight leaderboard, with Axe Creek's Ash Dixon (390), Sedgwick captain Jordan Ilsley (376), Spring Gully's Byron Perrin (370) and team-mate Rhys Webb (364) all within 33 points of Code heading into this weekend.
MVP points system - 1 run = 1 point; 1 wicket = 20 points; 1 catch = 10 points; 1 run out/stumping = 15 points.
