Bendigo on top as finals race tightens up in midweek pennant bowls

Bendigo moved into top spot after seeing off bottom side Castlemaine by 11 shots.

Eaglehawk slipped to second on the back of its one-shot loss to Bendigo East.

The Beasties are now in third place, percentage ahead of Kangaroo Flat.

The Roos scored a crucial 24-shot win over a White Hills side that was in the top four two rounds ago and is now second-last.

Inglewood jumped to fifth place and only seven points out of fourth after defeating Golden Square by 12 shots.
