This month, the family friendly and free events include outdoor evening movie screenings at the Garden for the Future, one of which kicked off last Friday.
More news:
It was a night full of outdoor fun for many with the screening of Mary Poppins Returns.
Acting Tourism and Major Events Manager Glenn Harvey said there are many reasons to be excited for the remainder of the program.
"We have a number of events and themes from December to February, so this month it's all about outdoor cinema and February it will be music in the parks," he said.
Mr Harvey said the program was an important part in the region's recovery from COVID-19.
"There are some still challenges ahead for many sectors, as we have seen things like the Blues and Roots Festival was postponed and a couple of other event have been as well but at least they are just postponed and they are not cancelled so that is a positive thing," he said.
Other news:
"We are really excited obviously events are a key driver for visitation for Bendigo and the region... To hold these events is important not just from tourism point of view but it's important for locals to enjoy and get out and enjoy Bendigo and what we got to offer.
"It's been a long slog the last couple of years but hopefully 2022 will be a better year for us all. There are some big events coming up such as Elvis exhibition in March so we are excited."
On January 21, movie-goers can enjoy Red Dog: True Blue followed by Farmageddon January 28.
