EVCA clubs indicated to the league board on Monday night that they expect to have enough players for the season to resume this Saturday.
"We know there's a lot of problems in society with COVID-19, but we're confident we can surge forward and get the players back on the park,'' EVCA president Ron Gray said.
"All divisions are playing at this stage. If a club can't field a division three side due to COVID-19 cases it will be classed as a draw.

"We want clubs to put their division one and two teams on the park first and then work down to division three.
"With (COVID-19) case numbers growing, we've got a feeling there could be a pause to the season down the track, so we'd like to get in as many games as we can now.
"The clubs voted not to replay the games that we missed last Saturday.
"They would have had to be replayed on a Sunday and I can understand the reluctance to back-up on a Saturday-Sunday and have players crossing over.
"That missed round has been declared a draw."
Gray said the board and clubs would be flexible in their approach to the remainder of the season.
"It's not just a matter of keeping an eye on the number of cases in the association, we need to look at the cases in the City of Greater Bendigo as well,'' Gray said.
"Case numbers are not getting smaller. It's a hard one because there's no rule book or handbook on how to deal with this.
"At the moment we have clubs that haven't had any COVID-19 cases, but that's not to say it won't happen in two weeks time.
"It's a lot of hard work for the clubs to navigate through this, but we're on board with them to help get as many games in as we can."
The highlight of this Saturday's round is the clash between Emu Creek and Spring Gully.
Play in the EVCA Twenty20 competition will resume tonight with one game to be played between Mandurang and United from 5.30pm at Mandurang..
The Marong versus Emu Creek match has been postponed.
