COACHES will replace Bendigo V/Line trains following a police incident in Melbourne.

V/Line has advised that the coaches would transport commuters between Southern Cross and Bendigo until further notice.
It follows a police incident in Albion, in Melbourne's north west.

Passengers are being advised to check station platform displays and listen for announcements.
Commuters should allow up to an additional 60 minutes for their journey.
"This incident is under Victoria Police control," a Department of Transport spokesperson said. "Services will resume when investigations are complete and it's safe to do so."
