On March 19, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will perform at Ulumbarra Theatre before returning in May to host school and community workshops.
Some of Australia's best ballet dancers will take to the Ulumbarra stage for three performances in August.
The Australia Ballet also plans to host school workshops and in-school performances, masterclasses for local dancers and workshops for pre-schoolers, youth and senior citizens.
Member for Bendigo East Jacinta Allan said the Bendigo performances were a significant coup.
"We can't wait to welcome the MSO in March and the Australian Ballet in August," she said.
"The arts are strong here and getting stronger all the time - these performances at the Ulumbarra Theatre will be a major drawcard and attract people from across the state."
Bendigo West MP said Maree Edwards the workshops and masterclasses were an added bonus to the tours.
"It's fantastic that schoolkids and local dancers will get to learn from elite performers as part of the Ballet's tour," she said.
"Dancers young and old will benefit from workshops, in-school performances and masterclasses - it's an amazing opportunity."
The regional tours are backed by the state government to ensure arts and culture fans in regional Victoria can experience world-class performances in their local venues as part of the Touring Victoria and Small Regional Presenters programs.
"It's fantastic to see so many wonderful arts events and cultural performances being presented at locations right across the state," creative industries minister Danny Pearson said.
"These programs ensure more Victorians can enjoy great productions in venues large and small, and they bolster creative workers who deliver so much for their communities."
Touring Victoria provides grants to arts and cultural organisations, performers and creatives to help them to take professional productions to regional and outer-metropolitan Victoria.
This year's program has awarded grants of more than $765,000 to eight tours including The Australian Ballet for performances in Mildura and Bendigo and a Melbourne Symphony Orchestra tour of nine centres including Wangaratta, Warragul, Shepparton, Ballarat, Bendigo and Mildura.
