The harvest seasons has hit the western and northern regions of the state with police expecting a higher number of heavy vehicles travelling on the roads.
Anyone driving on the roads around heavy vehicles should ensure they stay out of truck blind spots, leave space for trucks to stop safely, be patient when trying to overtake and don't overtake or travel beside a turning truck.
Motorists should also be aware of - and drive to - the road conditions and travel at an appropriate speed.
