A man, woman and her son have been taken to Bendigo hospital following an accident in Kennington on Monday night.
Police said the 43-year-old man was travelling west along Condon Street when he failed to give way at the Sternberg Street intersection.
In doing so, the man collided with the 30-year-old woman who was travelling north along Sternberg Street with her one-year-old son in the back seat.
Police said the woman's car spun and flipped onto its roof after the collision while the man's car spun 180 degrees to face the way he had come.
All parties have been taken to hospital by Ambulance Victoria for assessment.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not contributing factors to the accident.
Sternberg Street was blocked off while police and firefighters cleared the glass and leaking fluid off the road.
Both roads in all directions are now clear.
Police urge drivers to slow down and obey the road rules.
