From tomorrow, people who have had their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at least four months ago will be eligible for a booster shot.
The interval between a second dose and a booster shot will reduce to three months from January 31.

Bendigo Health board chair Bob Cameron advised people to book their booster appointment rather than walking in to the clinic or chemist.
"There will only be limited walk-ins and it will be a very busy program, so we want everyone to register," Mr Cameron said.
"So register with your pharmacist, register with your GP, or register with the vaccination centre.
"We've done a fantastic job in terms of getting double dosed, which puts us in a great position. But we've got Omicron. It's a milder disease but there's going to be a lot more of it."
Mr Cameron said people could expect COVID-19 vaccinations to become like a regular flu shot.
"This is a new regime," he said. "It doesn't take a lot of time. Book in, do it, and be done with it.
"Put it into your program because in all reality, we're going to need another booster down the track and ultimately maybe an annual program.
"This is just something that people will do. But Bendigo people are very sensible. They're very, very pro-vaccine, so they know that's what they've got to do to keep themselves safe."
The push towards booster shots comes as children as young as five become eligible for the coronavirus vaccine.
Those living in the Bendigo region can now register a vaccination appointment for their child.
"There's about 30,000 children in the region of that age group," Mr Cameron said. "So there's a lot of people who have been waiting for it.
"This is their opportunity to jump in and get in front of the queue."
Mr Cameron said people could book their vaccination or booster appointment through Bendigo Health at bendigohealth.org.au/registerforvaccine
