Former BDCA player Xavier Crone has been called-up by Big Bash League club the Melbourne Stars.
Crone has been added to the Stars' squad to help cover the loss of 10 regular squad members, who have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Stars play BBL leaders the Perth Scorchers at the Junction Oval in Melbourne on Sunday afternoon and are scheduled to play the Melbourne Renegades at the MCG on Monday night.
Skipper Glenn Maxwell, imports Joe Clarke, Qais Ahmad and Haris Rauf and hard-hitting batter Hilton Cartwright are all available to play for the Stars today.
Crone has been part of the Renegades squad in the past, but now looks set to get a BBL opportunity with the crosstown rival Stars.
It's already been a big summer for Crone, with the 24-year-old making his Sheffield Shield debut for Victoria against New South Wales at the SCG.
His most recent match was a Super Slam Twenty20 match for club side Carlton where he took 4-26 against Footscray.
