GREATER Bendigo recorded another seven cases on Boxing Day.
The new cases were found even as total active case numbers dropped by five to 83 in the municipality.
Extra cases have been linked to the 3550, 3551, 3555, 3556 and 3523 postcodes.
Elsewhere in central Victoria, the Campapse Shire council area recorded another four cases and the Central Goldfields eight.
The Macedon Ranges Shire recorded eight, while Mount Alexander recorded four.
Castlemaine North Primary School's cluster is no longer the biggest in the state after the number of active cases connected to the outbreak dropped by more than half overnight.
There are now 26 cases connected to the cluster, down from 61 recorded the day before.
The Castlemaine North PS cluster is now the fifth largest in the state.
The Lockington Consolidated Primary School cluster remains at 16 cases and Strathdale's Victory Christian College outbreak dropped below 10 cases in recent days.
The Loddon and Gannawarra shires recorded no new cases.

Another 1999 COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Victoria as well as three deaths.
Department of Health data shows there are now 16,467 active cases across the state.
Victoria also saw 57,818 test results processed.
Around the state, there are 368 people in hospital, 80 receiving intensive care and 38 on ventilators.

Anita and Chris White were given the best Christmas gifts they could ask for when they welcomed their third son Charles John on Saturday afternoon.
After going into labour on Christmas Eve, Mr White said the family's Christmas plans had been halted.
"He was originally due in January, but thankfully my wife is very organised so we weren't worried when Anita's water broke," he said.
