At Bendigo Cinemas, three films will premiere on December 26 with the titles sure to tempt all members of the family.
Following on from its successful 2016 animated film, Sing, Illumination Entertainment will release Sing 2.
With the voices of Taron Egerton, Reese Withersppon, Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey, the film follows optimistic and entrepreneurial koala Buster Moon as he tries impress an entertainment mogul with a show starring performers from his previous singing competition.
The first Sing film included a slew of popular music tracks and Sing 2 doesn't disappoint.
Among the artists who have their music included in the film are U2, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd and Elton John.
Eighteen years after the Matrix trilogy ended, The Matrix Resurrections will revive the franchise.
With Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprise their roles from the original trilogy with Neo once again living a seemingly ordinary life 20 years after the previous films.
Jonathon Groff and Neil Patrick Harris also have roles in the film, which is sure to attract fans of the original trilogy as well as film-goers who are fans of science fiction.
This year the theatre lost the great musical lyricist Stephen Sondheim. His passing comes as the 1957 musical West Side Story has been re-adapated for the screen after it was first put into cinemas in 1961.
Inspired by the story of Romeo and Juliet, the story follows two rival gangs - the Sharks and the Jets - and the love story of Tony and Maria (played by stars Ansel Elgort and Rachel Zegler).
After premiering last week, Spider-Man: No Way Home is the latest instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Tom Holland returns for his third Spider-Man film with his character Peter Parker having been unveiled to the world as Spider-Man. He turns to Doctor Strange in an effort to reclaim his anonymity.
Comic fans have eagerly awaiting the release of No Way Home. It has so far made $600 million at the box office since premiering on December 17 in the US.
Across town in Eaglehawk, Star Cinema will host three different films on Boxing Day.
At 1pm, Chinese drama film One Second will screen. It follows a movie fan in a remote farmland who strikes a relationship with a homeless female vagabond.
In keeping with the festive season, A Boy Called Christmas will show at 4pm. The film sees a young boy go on an adventure to the north in an effort to find the fabled elf village Elfhelm.
Finally, at 7pm, the new release Dune will screen. The science fiction film stars Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya and follows a gifted young man who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people.
