The prolific pair combined for a double at Tabcorp Park Melton last Friday night with Magic Mike and Whata Journey and followed up with a victory in the final race on Cranbourne Cup night on Saturday with Duke of Dundee.
Those wins elevated their totals to 179 training wins for the season for Douglas and 187 driving wins for Laugher.
Only leading trainer Emma Stewart has trained more winners than Douglas so far this season with 185, while Laugher sits third on the state driver's premiership list behind Chris Alford (216) and James Herbertson (191).
Douglas and Laugher were a touch unlucky not to have made it more than a double at Melton, having to settle for second placings with Hand Writer in the opening event on the program and later in the night with Shorty's Mate.
A win for Magic Mike continued a solid run of form for the four-year-old pacing gelding, who followed his win at Gunbower earlier in the month with a second at Melton on December 11 and a win.
Friday night's win was the sixth of his career from 43 starts, which have included a remarkable 24 minor placings.
Whata Journey was able to score in her first run for the Douglas stable.
The three-year-old Rock N Roll Heaven filly previously had two starts for Longlea-trainer John McDermott - one apiece in September and November - and looked convincing in posting a 7.2-metre triumph.
One of the Douglas stable's most in-form horses, Duke of Dundee notched up his third straight win with his victory at Cranbourne on Saturday.
It was the gelded son of A Rocknroll Dance's eighth win this season from 25 starts.
The former New Zealander's record since arriving at Strathfieldsaye earlier this year is an even more impressive six wins from 13 starts, highlighted by his victory in the Hygain Northern Region Championship Final at Swan Hill in September.
A double for Douglas and Laugher at Melton contributed to an outstanding evening for the Bendigo region training ranks.
Alex Ashwood picked up his 54th training win of the season and 107th driving win aboard Fashion Passion.
That win followed previous victories in the week with La Serena at Ballarat on Thursday and Tay Tay in a heat of the Vicbred Super Series at Kilmore last Wednesday night.
The stable's good form continued at Maryborough on Monday when Parisian Artiste, driven by Tayla French, won his heat of the Vicbred Super Series for three-year-old trotting colts and geldings, setting a new track record.
Longlea's Glenn Sharp experienced success with his seven-year-old trotting mare Ima Ziabee, while Charlton trainer John Tormey and daughter Ellen combined for a maiden win with the three-year-old trotting gelding Supplanter.
