A large crowd gathered in Rosalind Park on Sunday night for the Rotary Club of Bendigo's Carols By Candlelight.
Stormy conditions that morning cleared by the evening to allow the first Carols by Candlelight since the beginning of the pandemic to take place.
The Rotary club was expecting 5000 people at the Carols.

It was one of a host of Christmas-themed events that have been able to take place after social distancing restrictions lifted in recent months across Victoria.
Santa expects to appear on the back of a number of Country Fire Authority trucks around the city in the coming days.
