Openers Ryan Grundy and Xavier Ryan, Golden Square's Liam Smith, Kangaroo Flat's Brent Hanblin, Eaglehawk's Aaron Monro and Huntly-North Epsom's Elliott Massina have been in the team of the Week multiple times inside five rounds.
The selection process for round five was a tough one, with a number of players unlucky to miss out.
BDCA Team of the Week for round five:
Xavier Ryan (Bendigo) - The wicket-keeper and opening bat makes the Team of the Week for the second-straight round after making a fine 72 against Strathdale. Second half-century in as many rounds.
Ryan Grundy (Huntly-North Epsom) - Third Team of the Week honour for Grundy on the back of his third half-century of the season. 54 off 68 balls against the deep Jets' attack was a fine knock.
Liam Smith (Golden Square) - The skipper was the glue that kept the Bulldogs' innings together with 65 off 112 balls. 1-27 off nine overs with the ball as well.
Zane Keighran (Bendigo United) - Found form at the right time for the Redbacks. His 60 not out off 71 balls a crucial innings in the win over Sandhurst. Could play a massive role for the Redbacks as we get deeper into the season.
Mitch Winter-Irving (White Hills) - It was a grind for the Demons' captain, but he did find a way to make his first half-century of the summer - 59 off 101 balls in a loss to Kangaroo Flat.
Ben DeAraugo (Strathdale-Maristians) - There were higher scores made, but DeAraugo's contribution with bat and ball was vital in a hard-fought win. 38 off 41 balls with the bat and 1-22 off eight overs with the ball.
Chathura Damith (Strathfieldsaye) - 61 off 89 balls and 3-24 with the ball - the Jets' all-rounder produced one of the best individual games of the season. If the squad for Melbourne Country Week was selected tomorrow, Damith should be one of the first picked.
Brent Hamblin (Kangaroo Flat) - The Roos' star loves playing against White Hills. A crucial 31 not out with the bat and 2-26 with the ball in Flat's first win of the summer. Hamblin's form with the ball edge dhim ahead of unlucky team-mate Dylan Klemm.
Elliott Massina (Huntly-North Epsom) - The Power skipper took the new ball with his off-spinners and did his best to snap the club's losing streak. He took 3-19 off eight overs, including the key wicket of Jets' opener Tim Wood.
Aaron Monro (Eaglehawk) - Second big game with the ball this season for the Borough veteran - 4-29 off 8.4 overs to help the Hawks to another win.
Bailey Goodwin (Bendigo) - Best spell of the season for the Goers' swing bowler. Took 3-26 off his nine overs, including in-form duo Daniel Clohesy and Grant Waldron for ducks.
Round six draw: Bendigo United v White Hills, Strathdale-Maristians v Kangaroo Flat, Eaglehawk v Sandhurst, Strathfieldsaye v Golden Square, Huntly-North Epsom v Bendigo.
